Stuart, if you like the 'Where in the world' videos, you might also like the geotagging feature that Google Earth enables uploaded You Tube videos to be seen in Google Earth. Check out the following post for more details:

Hi David, I'm sure we could arrange some sort of collaborative project. And you are right, there is so much that is similar between our countries.

Hi Stuart,

Thanks for the comment on Sketchup/Google Earth post. You might also be interested in the collaborative project that I have been working on with students in the UK for the last two years. I regularly remote teach them from here in New Zealand. The students from two year four classes here on the Supertanker and in Plymouth have been collaborating on a range of topics for the last two years, check out what we have been up to at http://tohatoha.blogspot.com I am also setting up links with schools in Norway, Australia and New York, so we would love to connect with Scotland, it is so similar in many ways, educationally and geographically to New Zealand that we would have much in common.

Glad you're enjoying it. Hawick's great, such a change from last year. Lots of things I'm enjoying, but also a lot of things I miss, like my Friday afternoons off.

The £10 subscription has never been optional it's compulsory. The likes of scottish Hills.com provide a far superior product, trip reports being their 'jewel in the Crown',at no cost to the user.
I agree with Zak.Munromagic is after money and money is their driving force.
