I’ve just been flicking through my referral logs. Shame on you, or at least 2 of you. 2 people have come here from a site that I haven’t heard of before, I haven’t looked at it yet and I don’t suppose it’s work safe but here for you to check out, seeing as you so obviously like it already : http://www.massivecocks.com

Matrix Reloaded

10:57 am on the 29th of May, 2003

it’s a bit crap isn’t it?

I saw it last night, and I had hoped that the special effects would be all new and exiting and I had been told that the story was gripping and all in all it was a bit disappointing, bits were all right but in the whole it was s***(sorry Mum).

Anyway that was my tuppence worth on the subject that everyone is talking about and it seems I’m about the only one who didn’t like it.

Rain

4:42 pm on the 24th of May, 2003

Today’s has put on quite a show with it’s rain in Glasgow. It’s been better than normal rain, it’s really trying to rain none of your half-hearted drizzle stuff. It’s been a bit like living in a tropical area, it’s been on for about 15 minutes then off again. It’s been fantastically noisy, demanding your respect and your attention. And best of all it’s been a great distraction from studying. And there’s been hail which is pretty good on it’s own, seeing as it’s nearly June. And now it’s stopped again.

fantastic idea

11:12 am on the 23rd of May, 2003

the man behind easyjet has set up easycinema and i thinkit’s a great idea, you book in advance to get the cheap tickets(20p) or you can buy in the cinema before the film starts at full price, there’s no annoying adverts or trailers and best of all no rip off stinking sweets and sticky floors. only problem - it’s in milton keynes.

Clocks and Time

9:56 am on the 23rd of May, 2003

Everywhere you go these day’s you hear Coldplay’s ‘Clocks’, hang about for 15 minutes and you’ll hear it again. It doesn’t really bother me the way other songs on the radio do, it has the benefit of being instantly forgettable so it doesn’t stick in your head but it’s everywhere so it is hard not to have it in your head for a while. I hate it, it’s rubbish that repetitive piano bit like someone playing a chromatic scale with a stutter and the man’s whiny voice. I maybe would have liked it had I heard it first on a decent stereo rather than over rubbish tinny speakers in the union’s servery like I did and still do. But tough that’s how I heard it and that’s why I don’t like it, but still it’s on ALL the time, I heard it when I went in to the dining room in the union at twelve on Wednesday and again just 20 minutes later!

But getting to my point, This song won the Ivor Novello songwriting award in the US, another winner was the soundtrack to a TV show, fair enough, why not. The thing that got my attention in this article on the BBC today was the subject of the show :

TV show Feltham Sings, a musical documentary featuring real prison inmates.

What?! A musical where the singers are the inmates? A documentary about the activities of prison inmates in the showers? Apparently it’s already been on and it wasn’t an American show as I had expected, it was on Channel 4. Did anyone see it? Was it as ridiculous as it sounds?
