A coincidence I've just noticed, some of the other photographers is someone I have met a few times, David Briody is from Lochmaben. Funny old world.

I've removed the bad link.

They must have looked through flickr for images of the South Island that have a licence that suited their use. I got a comment about it last week sometime and the album went live the other day. I've got photos of lots of the places in the album but none are anywhere near as good. I'm not sure why they picked mine to be honest, it's not one I'm that happy with.

But, as you say, it's a nice thing to happen.

Unfortunately, the link to the photo doesn't seem to work - at least not in my pc. I did find it, by clicking on the first link, and following the link to the photos from there.

It looks a spectacular place. I don't think I ever saw your photos of that trip. IIts kind of somewhere on the list of places I'd like to go if I ever have the time and budget for a BIG holiday again. (How long until my kids grow up and become self-sufficient?). I know you didn't take them, but some of the photos are of pretty amazing looking places. The one of the waterfall of Mitre Ridge, and the pancake rocks especially.

A nice thing to happen. How did they find your photo?
