East Stirling v Berwick

1:46 pm on the 9th of September, 2006

It’s a crunch game, Berwick are only 4 points ahead but have a goal difference that’s 6 goals healthier - not helped by our 5-0 thrashing in the last game. My prediction 2:1 to us.

Close, at 2-2. The BBC says East Stirling came close to a surprise away win. Bad luck, lads.

You’re a fair-weather fan. A 2-2 draw last week, a 2-0 defeat today, and nothing mentioned. I think it’s time you started a campaign to get the manager sacked. Second-bottom, and only 7 points clear of Elgin on, erm, 7 points.
At least you didn’t draw Elgin. Is it too early to say such things?

I’ve not been able to find out any results this weekend, I’m still without net access at the flat and I was away watching out other national game yesterday.

& points so early in the season is fantastic, we just have to make sure we get a few more this season and we’ll beat the last five years’ performances.

So quiet on the ‘Shire front, isn’t it? I think you should be vocally criticising them, and backing up your support with visits to the games.

you can’t develop fanaticism overnight. It takes years to develop. Occasional galnces have to become habit, then become ingrained, then become complusive, then begin to affect your social life, only then are you a fan(atic).

There hasn’t been much to write about recently, I could have posted about us losing to Dumbarton but to be honest I think at the moment some quiet, real-world support is more beneficial.

And on being fanatical then if I get to that stage then I will be pretty disappointed, that sort of behaviour is the sort of thing I wanted to avoid.
