8:20 pm on the 18th of April, 2006A lecture on some features of the Scottish system of education. It may seem odd that we’d get a lecture about this 3 years in, but it was more to do with how things are done in other countries in comparison.
Did you knwo by the way that in the 19th Century it was discouraged to use the word ‘Scotland’ and instead it should be referred to North Britain?
An overview of the upper school subjects in tech departments and a form to fill in for our next placement, it seems too far away at the moment. These forms seem never to make any impact on where we actually get placed though so I’m not too worried about it.
Then Understanding Energy where we were asked if anyone would confess to being comfortable with the maths involved. Well, I confessed, shameful as it is.
