I’ve been charged with the task of running the caving club website. I wonder where I start.

    Above ground? before heading down?

It’s a pretty front page, but thin on detail after.

My advice (from doing a volleyball one) is to make sure that its something that won’t look hideously out of date if you ignore it for more than a month. First year, I put up the fixtures, and then updated the results each week. Second year, just the fixtures.

Equally, you need to something to show the site is still valid - that the club didn’t fold 3 three years ago, and just never been taken down. As its a uni club one, I’d start by taking out the reference to the 2004 xmas party - replace it with 2004’s xmas party was held at, next year will be.. or is still to be decided,

i would take the TNR font off the front page and replace it with whatever one you used on the main site.

I would try and move away from the shades-of-grey design, i don’t think it communicates the hyper drunkeness of the club enough. possibly replace it with a tiled guinness background.
