‘The SFA chief executive argued Vogts was getting the best of the limited resources he had at his disposal.’
So. Lets see. Northern Ireland are getting better results than us just now. (2-2 in the Millenium stadium versus 4-0 for example). So if the coach getting the best out of the players at his disposal, Northern Ireland must have better players.
Scotland last night started with 4 SPL players, 4 Premiership players and 3 Coca Cola players.
Northern Irelands team was
Carroll (Man U), Aaron Hughes (Newcastle?), Williams, Murdock (Hibs)(Elliott 78)(Hull!!), Gillespie (Leicester), Whitley (McVeigh 89), Johnson, Doherty, McCartney, Healy (Preston), Quinn.
I’ve left quite a few blanks - but how do they compare?
