Edit, 19th August:
It’s later, and perhaps time to tell something of what we did but really it wouldn’t be very interesting for you so instead I might give you a rundown of the places we went and then you can see if you agree. It can be like a ‘hands up who likes Paris?’ sort of game.
I’ll not start yet though because I don’t have much else to write about and this way I stretch out a pretty poor idea for entertainment over the course of a week, or who knows, maybe even longer if you’re lucky.
I still need to find out what’s happenned while I’ve been away so if anyone has something interesting to say speak up now

Thanks for the postcard! It’s not often I get mail. I tried to take it my bed with me, but the stupid humans took it off me and put it on the mantelpiece where I can’t get it. Could you ask them to give me it back?

Maybe, but there’s next to no point looking for a job in Dunbar if you don’t have your own transport, the car will help me get to any job I get.
