on buses

4:31 pm on the 17th of November, 2003

Whenever you’ve been waiting at an unfamiliar bus stop for 10 minutes and you see the bus you want to get, stop at the other bus stop that you’ve only just noticed 20 yards away then of course the only thing you can do to retain your ’street cred’ is to wait untill the bus that does stop at your bus stop arrives and get on regardless of it going completely the wrong way to where you wanted to go, for a long enough time so not to arise suspicions about your ineptitude.

No. I prefer to look a fool, but catch the bus I want to get. Saves me looking foolish at my destination, you understand, by arriving on time.

I’m with you SM. If I have the time like you clearly do.
