3:52 pm on the 24th of October, 2003Stuart’s Weblog is drawing to the end of it’s life like Concorde. Following some rather pesky comment-bots stalking me I’ve decided to change my name, move house and assume a new identity. Soon foolfillment.co.uk will be set up and ready to go, it’s currently suffering from some teething problems but the support guy at my new hosts has been doing everything to allow Movable Type to function properly. I’ll let you know when it’s up and running. I haven’t decided what to do with this space yet but it’ll not cease to exist any time soon.
As far as news about me, I’ve been ill and it hasn’t been fun, and it wasn’t a hangover before you start although drinking the night before probably didn’t help. Still feeling fragile but at least I didn’t throw up on the bus today, which, I feel is always a bonus.

So you prefer Lordy’s advice to mine then. Harrumph. I’ll remember that when I buy your birthday present. Speaking of which, do you want it posted to arrive on Monday or would you be terribly offended if you had to pick it up when you visit next weekend. Given that I’ve not got a clue what to get you, and so haven’t bought it yet, next weekend would be my preferred option.

I like the logo too. And the wee favourites icon (I forget the real name).
The underlines are funny. They only happen on the first line of the post. This one should demonstrate it for us well enough.

I still don’t really know what you mean about the underlines? Do you mean the line at the top of the main post body, under the date?
What browser/platform are you using?

I meant the icon, actually.
Not the logo. If you mean the little symbol like a smile that appears next to your sites name in My Favourites
What Lordy means by the underlines is that the while you seem to think there is a line dividng the commenst under the identity of each commenter, it is actually under the first line of the next comment. So in Lordy’s post above (I assume it’s him, he didn;t say)
‘I like the logo too. And the wee favourites icon (I forget the real name).’ is underlined. This line runs the full width of the screen. The rest isn’t. And there is no line under the ‘Posted by: on October 27, 2003 03:15 PM’ bit either. But there is a line under your reply, starting ‘I still don’t know what you mean’.
I have no idea what browser/platform I’m using. Nor do I know which one I use at home. I’ll look at the site tonite to see how it looks. I tried yesterday at home, about 11pm, when I was checking emails but couldn’t get in.

Um Records, or Unmutual Records, is Marc’s record label. Currently only one release, and knowing Marc, it’ll be the only one, but it is by They Came From The Stars (I Saw Them), and that’s good. I was wondering if you’d notice.

it wasn’t so mucha problem with ie5 as newer browsers being too clever and letting me get away with bad code. hopefully it all works now?
