I’m glad we drew them. I think we would have gone out to Latvia, so at least we’re going out to Holland instead. And these big international tournaments are so much more enjoyable when you don’t have to be annoyed at how crappy Scotland are playing.
I saw Darrne Fletcher in Toys R Us on Sunday afternoon though, about a day to the minute after he scored the winning goal. How peculiar, I though. Why would he be in a place like that? I was going to say something like “good oan ye big man”, but I didn’t, I don’t think the Lady of All would have forgiven me. Good oan him though, eh?
He was quite tall actually. Well, taller than me anyway.
