I was walking past Fopp. The new belles album gestured to me through the window.
I’m sorry. If that was what anybody was going to get me for my birthday then I’m sorry, I beat you to it.
But as consellation, it IS very good so get a copy for yourself, however if anybody needed proof that the eighties are on the way back just listen to the final track.

If its any consolation, I snapped too. But I had my switch card, so i bought the new Spiritualised album as well, which was released the day after my wedding.
But I wasn’t going to get it for your birthday anyway. I’d assumed a man of your taste would buy it long before then. And, you know what? I was right.
