I hate having to think up witty titles, so you’re not getting one today.

Right, everything’s sorted. Got the Euros, got my E111, my passport, checked the times of the planes, booked the taxi to take us to the airport tomorrow morning and I’ve got all of my clothes reached out ready to be packed. All I need to do now is pack, set the alarm and be able to get up at ridiculous o’clock, make the connecting flight in Luton, not get mugged in Barcelona, find a birthday present for my sister (any ideas?), not get too sunburnt so as to not look like too much like a walking blister in a kilt at my brothers wedding and prepare for spending an entire night in Luton airport.

It seems the only reason you need a holiday is to relax from the stress of organising a holiday.

You think it’s stressful organizing a holiday? try organizing a wedding, young man. Sleepless nights, a constant headful of nonsense that distracts you from what you should really be thinking about, an inability to separate the wheat from the chaff..And that’s just the honeymoon..Thank god you only do it once.

Still a few things to do - persaude Susan to obey, for instance!

Present for sister suggestions; Spain is the home of bull-fighting, so maybe an anti-glove puppet matador? If not, alcohol should suffice, it usually does. And it’s dirt cheap too!
