I wasn't disappointed by it, but only because I wasn't expecting much. So much of what was cool, original and differnet about the firts has been copied, spoofed and done to death since, they were on a hiding to nothing.

The car chase was well done, but apart from that most of the special effects were basicllay silly - lets do what we did last time only bigger (not better). Also it's far from a self-contained film. I know it's the second of three, but they spent an inordinate amount of time building characters for film 3, who had nowt to do otherwise. Unlike Empire Strikes Back or Two Towers, which, tho very definitely film 2 of 3 (5 of 6), at least were more than just a lot of plt development and som especial effects. They could still save the trilogy with film 3, but if it's of the standard of reloaded, they'd have been better off leaving the first film to stand on it's own reputation.

That's what I think. And I'm usually right, in my opinion.

I haven't seen it, but have only spoken to one person who liked it so far. That said, I'll still go see it, just because.
