and before i forget

2:08 pm on the 25th of April, 2003

I’ve just found out that Adobe Photoshop does web photo albums that can be custom styled so I’ll work on that and get the photos from Buachalle Etive Mor up soon.

stuff i need to tell you

2:06 pm on the 25th of April, 2003

because I’m delaying doing any work for as long as possible.

Every day this week except today I’ve looked out the window at breakfast and decided that it would rain later in the day and that I didn’t want to cycle in to uni just to get wet coming back. Today I decided that it was a gorgeous morning and it couldn’t possibly rain today and so I cycled in. Needless to say today was the only day this week it has rained.

Also today (and I’m pretty exited about this) I bought my first dvds; Airplane, Silence of the Lambs and The Royal Tenenbaums. I still need to get a copy of WinDVD but that’s easily sorted. So that’s my night sorted except for what order to watch them in, I could sandwich the serious one with the comedies but then again I might not pay as much attention to Silence of the Lambs if I’ve just watched Airplane, and of course I should really watch the one I’ve necer seen before first (Tenenbaums) but then I could save it for another night. oh it’s a hard life I lead, I’m sure you’ll agree.

hello new people

8:20 am on the 24th of April, 2003

Well since my mention on Scotblog I’ve had a surge in new visitors (and what a surge it is - 21 more as I write this) so I ‘ll just take this opportunity to say hello to any new-comers and invite them to poke about a bit in the archives. There’s not much here but I like it, I hope you do to.

entering rings

9:12 pm on the 23rd of April, 2003

I’ve bitten the bullet and joined two webrings. It made me ask myself a question, where should links open up from on the page? I always prefer every link to open up in the same window but the code for the rings uses a blank target, what do people want me to stick with?

And another thing, is there a good package for creating web photo albums? I’ve used DreamWeaver in the past but I don’t think it lets you use your own style sheet. Any hints? I’ll put some pictures up of last weekend soon, for now here’s a little taster:

gissa job

10:50 am on the 22nd of April, 2003

I need a job for summer, you can find my cv here. I applied to a few places at the start of the holidays but so far only one has replied. Quite satisfying though is the fact the a search for my full names returns my cv at number two, just after the weblog main page.

hello?

10:25 am on the 22nd of April, 2003

Ahh, it’s good to be back, shame its been so long, I fear everyone will have left, except Lordy.

So, what’s been happening? I’ve been on holiday and it’s been great. I slept, I took the dog out, I went walking (Buachaille Etive Moar - I’ll have the pictures up soon), I went to Aberdeen, I watched the Honda Accord ad and was reminded of a C4Schools programme I saw a few years ago that was peretty much the same but went on for much longer, I slept and I ate. What more can you ask for?

Oh, I did no work as well so it will be a bit quiet here for a wee while longer while I do my maths assignment for Monday. I sat my IT baseline insult test on the last day of term and as you might expect I passed. [sarcasm] woohoo! [/sarcasm]

So, is there anyone out there?
