You’ll never sing your own songs
7:39 pm on the 27th of February, 2003If Celtic do go through in the UEFA Cup tonight (and it’s looking pretty likely at the moment) and they do meet Liverpool, what will the Celtic fans sing?
Will they have to, you know, sing their own songs or something?
SPL curtain raiser idea
12:43 pm on the 27th of February, 2003Scotland’s own Charity Shield will pitch Berti Vogts’ national team against an SPL Foreign Select at Hampden four days before the start of the new season in August.
Taylor is confident the ambitious concept which would see Rangers and Celtic stars Henrik Larsson, Johan Mjallby, Lorenzo Amoruso and Ronald de Boer line-up in the same team against Scottish team- mates Barry Ferguson and Paul Lambert will take place.
Suddenly blogs are newsworthy
11:25 am on the 23rd of February, 2003It seemed every weblog I loked at mentioned the Bloogle story so I refrained from doing so, but now it seems that everyone wants to know about them, this story on the BBC News front page wouldn’t have been given coverage anywhere a fortnight ago.
Why is Berti Vogts the Scotland Manager?
9:17 pm on the 22nd of February, 2003I’m going to just come out and say it before I chicken out : Berti Vogts shouldn’t be the manager of the Scottish National Football Team.
And before anyone has a go at me for saying this let me explain.
I am sure he is a capable manager. of a german club team. He isn’t the right man for us. I know he has a real job on his hands and he has to make the best of what he has, but is fighting with everyone in Scottish football the best way to do it?
