so much happening
4:18 pm on the 2nd of December, 2002i’ve not been here for ths last week or so because i instaled xp on my pc last monday and it decided it didn’t like the unis’s network connection, oh well. it’s sorted now, like my room, i’m back there after a week in my palace.
wow
isn’t it exciting? only 22 days 8 hours to go ( you can watch a proper countdown here)
What did everyone get today and yesterday? i got rudolf yesterday and a candle today. i’m taking bets on tomorrows, just email me. i’ll give you 7-1 on a snowman and 3-1 on a star. any other guesses and i’ll get straight back to you.
Could be a nice little earner this…
I could take a pound off every reader of this silly little page and give a prize to the first person to guess what calendar i have, (prize decreasing every day when i tell you what i get of course)
what are the dunbar lights like this year, tacky and overly bright as ever i trust? there aren’t many pics on the towns site yet.
I was shopping in town yesterday and Morven got all exited when we got to the ice rink at george square, so did i a bit i suppose but then I’m not the type to get excited about Christmas.
hehe, i make myself laugh sometimes.
I think i’m going through to Edinburgh next sunday to do the rest of my shopping. anybody want to offer me somewhere to get a nice cup of tea and a seat by the fire?
normally i hate shopping but there’s something about buying for other people that i really enjoy, i could do it every weekend if i had the money. I will have the money soon though, i found out on wednesday that the average starting slary for engineers is ?26k, not bad i thought, then i read on to see that for electrical engineers it is ?31k. not bad. not bad at all.
only 4 and a half years to wait…
i’ve got my reindeer section ticket and i’ve got my daft friday ticket and i’ve booked my kilt but i’m not at all excited about it or the whole christmas thing yet as you might have noticed.
oooh, it’s soo exciting, can’t wait

Oh hello.
I had wondered what happened to you. I thought maybe you were busy working, but then Iremembered that you were a student (ba-boom).
Is it too late for the bet? It could be a fix you see.
I want Santa Claus for Christmas Eve. What will you give me for that?

Well, my instincts are the Rangers advent calendar. It’s not the Thornton’s one, cos we’ve got that and we’ve had different things from you.
As far as the 8th goes, I’m sure you could come and visit. Especially if Morven (?) is with you! Spartacus and Sophie are always keen to meet new people.

I didn’t even see all the extra stuff.
Morven? Come on then. Wheres the photos then? You have no excuse not to immediately put up pictures of your female admirers for the perusal of your close family (and the rest of the world).
I’m not doing anything this Sunday either. I might give you a ring.

2:1 for the big Claus on Christmas Eve, but that’s subject to change. How much do you want to bet? It get’s cancelled if you work out what calendar it is. (and it isn’t the Rangers one, and Mum’s not allowed to enter).
And aren’t you all nosey! I dropped her in to see people’s reactions. I was very surprised I didn’t get an instant response from you Lordy.
I don’t know exactly what I’m doing on Sunday but it’ll involve shopping for Mum’s and Dad’s presents, any ideas what they want? I haven’t got a list from either of them yet.

i forgot to ask, is the ice-rink and all the other stuff open in Edinburgh yet?

I don’t think the ice rink is there yet, I haven’t seen it. I’m not sure if its even coming this year. The big wheel beside the Scott monument is. And there are hundreds of people to bump into you on Princes Street, which I think is a lovely feature.

Yes, it’s one of my favourites, especially when they walk (sorry, I mean dawdle) 4 or 5 abreast stopping outside every shop and speeding up just as you might be able to get past them.

I believe the ice rink opened last nite.
We were going to go shopping Sunday as well. Give us a call, and we can meet up.
