Today I will be mostly wearing…
2:07 pm on the 20th of December, 2002…every item of clothing I can find.
I don’t know about the rest of the country but today Glasgow is colder than brass monkey cold.

“Suddenly, anything is possible…”
I take my card and wander off to find a less sarcastic cash machine.
As I walk away, I swear I hear it sniggering behind me.
I had a similar experience to Anna’s today.
who wants to go with me?
Almost the whole union is closed at the moment in preparation for this.
I have to go and collect my hired kilt tomorrow and then do some serious training for the real thing which is on Friday. 8pm till 8am. I propose a minimum of 2 drinks an hour. Or or at least I would have untill they stopped selling Belhaven Best. Still it is pound a pint for the beers they do still have (which amounts to Tennents Lager and Stella)
Is it possible to create a mailto link that will link to more than one email address?
I have some ideas about how it might work; something similar to the subject tag but instead a carbon-copy tag..
Does anyone have any ideas/tips?
‘Tis the season: Tuesday, December 03, 2002
‘Walk as fast as you possibly can’, obviously, this is a relative concept.
You walking ‘as fast as you possibly can’, is probably someone walking quite fast indeed.
Not in Christmas shopping.
It just can’t be done.
Or can it?Just ask yourself – how sharp are your elbows?
Could they be sharper? How could we sharpen them?
Do you smell?
How much do you smell? How could you smell more, do you think?
A very funny but precise explanation of what a panto is from ‘Tis the season a new bit on Not So Soft
Last night I saw the Reindeer Section at the QM. Very good indeed, the albums are both really gentle affairs and we were expecting a gig where people just talk amongst themselves and give poilite applause inbetween songs, in fact so did most of the people there ( for example the guy who read his book during the support act and the two elderly men who were playing dominoes at the table next to us) but what we found out was reindeers rock! The place was absolutely jumping.
It was another strange sort of ‘rolling subs’ gig like belle and sebastian were in March. There were no less than 7 people on stage at any one time and another 7 or so waiting in the wings. Did anyone else see them, what did you think?
I saw the girl who did Lordy’s wedding photos and her boyfriend ( I forget their names) there but didn’t realise who they were until after it finished.
after a long time with the left hand side of my site looking very sparce it’s slowly taking more shape. Yesterday I added some links to more blogs and sites that I like and tonight I’ve just added a recently commented bit that lists the last 5 posts that have just been commented on. go on, try it, it really does work (which is a real change seeing as I wrote the code that makes it work).
