a movie update
10:48 pm on the 6th of November, 2002I’ve seen quite a lot of films lately, most of them were rubbish. Tonight’s was part of some experiment, I had to answer some questions about it for the chance to win ?50. It was quite good, I’m sure it would have been grreat in it’s day but like all films that were banned when they came out (the exorcist, clockwork orange etc) it just doesn’t cut the mustard with today’s lot. It was of course Frankenstein, the 1931 version.
Other films I’ve seen recently include Red Dragon, which I thought was superb, Gone In 60 Seconds which was kinda good up till the cheesy ending, Interview with a Vampire which was a total waste of time, but then I don’t much like Tom Cruise’s films and when they’re mixed with Brad Pitt they just get worse. and of course the excellent Quest for the Holy Grail by Monty Python.
I’ll have to start watching more films because there’s so many I have never seen that I feel I should have ( I only saw the Shining for the first time on Wednesday), but instead of catching up with the classics I think the next one will be the next in a long series of classcs, the new James Bond movie.
