Get yourself a job then, you lazy stop-out.

Seriously though, it sounds good. Except for your Daft Friday thing. That sounds like modern torture.

Learn to spell, you daft wee sod.

Glen Affric. It even says that on the link. There is a pub in Cannich, but I’m unsure as to the pool table. And the walk-ins are long. I’d have said it was either a summer venue, or one where you’d have to spend at least one night in a bothy, so take a head torch.

Life as a student – you don’t save, you just spend less of the lump sum you got at the beginning of term, in the hope of making it last longer. (Handy hint – try and combine periods of lower expenditure with periods where studying is required. It gives you something to do when you’re avoiding the pub, and increases your chances of being back next year!)

What do you mean PERIODS where studying is required? I study hard all the time. And as for me being a lazy stop out, I could get a job, infact I could combine earning with drinking because there’s jobs going at the lock. But I’m not going to, I’m holding out for my 40% raise in student loans and I’m going on strike untill I get it

    Ahhh, strikes.

I’m not sure you would get the same level of public sympathy that other industrial action gets, I’m afraid. I wasn’t allowed to look at the lock, because of the firewall here. Is it a pub?

Don’t get a job really, I was only joking.

How do you tell when a student goes on strike? Does he get out of bed in the morning, or something?

  6. SM

ho ho! aren’t student jokes funny!
yeah, lock 27 is the nearest pub to the halls. I wasn’t going to get a job anyway, far too much like work.

How do you tell when a student goes on strike? Does he stop nicking bar stools, or something?
