i was just checking out the union’s website and stumbled into ubisan who designed it and they have so much cool stuff on such a wee site, the games are pretty good as are the other sites they’ve designed. I must start doing stuff with Flash, just need an idea to work on… any suggestions?

Can you do an opening page to your site? Something simple. I think you should, I’d like to see it. Just mess about. Then make a game. A simple game, like space invaders.

Chuckie egg would be harder, because you’d have to teach the wee blue things what to do, and all the jumping and stuff would be complicated.
Not sure how long it took Ferebee to make his game (a good couple of months though), but its tougher than the one I was envisaging. I was meaning the original space invaders, where you’ve got a spaceship which moves horizontally along the bottom, and a about 5 rows of five spaceships, slowly moving down the screen shooting. The wee guy at the bottom gets to hide behind stuff. Its easier because theres no maths involved in the whole jumping business - both spaceships move from left to right.
Look on Flash kit” for some game tutorials. You can get fairly simple ones.

Planetoid was one of the coolest games ever (on the BBC)You skimmed the surface of a planet shooting up attacking aliens. But you were looking on sideways, which made it different. I liked it cos I was good at it.

yeah it would be pretty hard, i think i’ll just add a link to this site instead which has a pc version you can download and play. very addictive and every bit as good as i remember

i can see why the nu-prod editor gets so annoyed at you lordy, i changed the setings so that i could put the html into my last post and found that you’d made everything after your post a link to flash kit, “/” not equal to “” do i have to make a link machine for here as well?

Donm’t patronise me, it was a simple mistake. I don’t need a link machine. Basic HTML is not beyond me, thanks very much. You’ll find that comments in the language I use are made by \. You see?
Honestly, I don’t even know why I speak to you…..
