Good to see you enjoyed it wee bro. If you're considering taking it up, one way of saving money would be judicous use of your 18th birthday. I could probably stretch to a harness, if you let me know size/type etc - try Tiso's in Glasgow if you want - I think they've the facilities to let you test them for comfort, You'll need at least four gear-loops. Leg buckles are optional, unless you are considering ice climbing, when they are complulsory. (But if you end up doing stuupid things like ice-climbing, it won't be this winter, and you'd prob be best to have a seperate harness for that rather daft discipline). So leg buckles optional, then. as is this entire option if you want something else.

Lemme know (if you see this...)

http://www.tiso.ws/

For more info - directions and confirmation that you can indeed test harnesses there.

as copied by me;
ON FOOT - Using our City Centre shop in Buchanan Street as a starting point, you should walk north on Buchanan Street until you reach Sainsbury's. Turn right onto Bath Street, then left onto North Hanover Street. Follow North Hanover Street until you reach Henry Bros Garage (approx 3 minutes). The shop is just opposite.

BY BUS - GOE is two minutes walk from Glasgow's main Buchanan Street Bus Station. Follow North Hanover Street as above.

BY RAIL - From Central Station, the shop is about 10 minutes walk, following the directions from our Buchanan Street shop. From Queen Street Station, take the North Hanover Street exit, turn left and we are 5 minutes walk up the hill.

So are you still hooked?

If so, we'll need to get you out some time. Think you could get a car loan that would let you head to a crag one evening next week?
